Gluten Free, Crock Pot Pumpkin Spice Latte

Recently, I have developed an addiction to cappuccinos and lattes. Thank you +Meredith Lewis . So, in order to make my own gluten free version of the popular drink, I found a healthy recipe to make a gluten free, crock pot pumpkin spice latte. Because I used the crock pot, this delicious beverage is at my disposal any time of the day, right up to the very last drop.

Ingredients I used were:

  • 3/4 cup strong coffee
  • 2 tablespoons canned pureed pumpkin
  • 2 cups milk (I used almond milk)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Cinnamon (optional)

In your crock pot add coffee and milk to the stoneware. Whisk in pumpkin, spices, sugar and vanilla. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours. Whisk again. Ladle into mugs and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.

This was so easy to create and is a delicious treat for visitors to your home during these beautiful fall days.

I did add more honey to my cup of latte. While my husband prefers strong coffee with no sugar, I prefer to add a splash of sweetness to my drink.

Now you tell me-

What is your favorite fall drink?
