Vitacost haul

I received my Vitacost order. I will share the items that I purchased.

The items arrived in a large box. I was excited. So was our kitty, Charlie!
Any purchase over $49.00 is free shipping.

The items are packed very securely. Single items are packaged in individual zip lock bags. I took out large bubble wrap to take this picture.

A close up look at how well items are packaged for shipment.

This is Giovanni body lotion in the scent of hazelnut vanilla. The price is $6.97. I have not tried this lotion. However, I have heard good reviews.

The ingredients in this lotion is *USDA certified organic. 100% vegetarian. We do not add parabens, lauryl or laureth sulfates, dyes, or PEGs to this product. Made in the U.S.A. and Leaping Bunny approved.

I wanted to try the body scrub. Hot Chocolate sugar scrub with cocoa beans. The smell is heavenly. The label on the item lists the same as the label on the above lotion. I bought this before I found a scrub that I could make at home. Oh well, can never have too many scrubs! The price is$8.59.

This is Dr. Bronner's Magic Fresh Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil Whole Kernel Unrefined. The price is $9.99. I have so many uses for this item such as cooking, makeup removal and oil-pulling. There are so many uses for coconut oil.

This is jojoba oil. The price is $4.49. I bought this to replace the organix argan oil I talked about in my December empties. I use it to take off my makeup and use on my hair. This is a 1 ounce bottle. I did not notice that when I ordered it. I will be looking for a larger bottle.

This is Vitacost peppermint oil. The price is $4.79. Also, Aura Cacia sweet orange oil. The price is $2.69. I am starting to buy essential oils for when I make scrubs or soaps. I want to start adding more to my supply.

This is Earthpaste Amazingly Natural Toothpaste. In a cinnamon flavor. The price is $4.29. I said I wanted to try a natural toothpaste and I had heard about this. However when I read the box, it says, This product contains trace amounts of lead, a substance known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Well, if I had been aware of this information I would not have purchased this product. Ugh!

This is the Desert Essence coconut shampoo nourishing for dry hair. The price is $3.97. This shampoo is 100% vegan/wheat& gluten free. No: parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, phthalates, artificial colors, silicones, EDTA, glycol, or petroleum based ingredients. Cruelty free and biodegradable formula. Made in the U.S.A. This shampoo lathers nicely.

And now for the chocolate! This is Chocolove Dark Chocolate Bar with Almonds and Sea Salt. The price was $1.84. You were required to buy 2 when you placed your order. The price was $3.68. I did not notice this when I placed the order. On the back of the package it states: may contain traces of milk, wheat, peanuts, or other nuts. I didn't know this. I do not eat wheat. I was disappointed when I read this. So just be warned if you are gluten intolerant. I did eat one of the bars and it did not upset my stomach. But I would not have purchased if I was aware of the trace amount of wheat in the product.

I am always pleased with my purchases from Vitacost.

Everyone, thank you for reading
Have a blessed day!
~Kathy~
